POSITION SUMMARY
​
The Client Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary liaison between our firm and our clients. This role is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and professional support to plan sponsors, financial advisors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, client-focused, and have an understanding of retirement plans (401(k), profit sharing, defined benefit, etc.).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships through consistent communication and responsiveness

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of plan administration services, compliance testing, and reporting

Assist clients with day-to-day questions related to plan operations, contributions, distributions, loans, and plan design

Support onboarding of new clients, including data gathering, plan setup, and transition from prior providers

Maintain and update client records and documentation in CRM and administrative systems

Monitor deadlines and deliverables to ensure regulatory and service level requirements are met

Educate and guide clients through regulatory updates, plan amendments, and best practices
-
Collaborate with external partners such as recordkeepers, investment advisors, and CPAs
-
Escalate complex issues to senior administrators or management as needed
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or related field
-
2+ years of experience in a client service, retirement plan administration, or financial services role (TPA experience preferred)

Knowledge of qualified retirement plans (401(k), profit sharing, safe harbor, etc.) and IRS/DOL regulations
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
-
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with retirement plan software a plus
-
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

ASPPA, NIPA, or other industry certification(s)

Experience working with multiple employer plans or complex plan designs

Prior use of recordkeeping platforms or CRM systems
